Situation: I have a 7 page (printed) inventory list. There are
columns-item,description,price1 and price2. Questions--
1) How do I print this list with a letterhead type header plus
smaller header on the first page, then only the smaller header on th
remaining pages?
2) Is there any way to set "tabs" within cells so that info i
different cells of a column will align? ex: the description column ha
the description and dimensions of the item. the description is lef
justified in each cell, therefore aligning with all descriptions
however, I need to align the dimensions without adding another column
 
1) Excel doesn't have a 'different first page' feature similar to the
one in MS Word.

You could create a header (View>Header and Footer), that would print on
each page. At the top of the worksheet, add the logo or text that you
want on the first page.

2) You can indent the cells that contain the dimensions. There's an
Increase Indent button on the toolbar, or choose Format>Cells, and on
the Alignment tab, enter a number in the Indent box, or scroll to select
a number.
 
Hi DMalloy ,
You can use the spreadsheet itself for you page headers say you
use rows 1-5 with rows 1-4 as the big headings as long as
you can then specify 5:5 as your rows to repeat at top.

Similar but different would be to repeat perhaps
row 45 -- Repeat rows 45:45 at top
You would probably insert a page break before row 45 to
make sure you have consistent results.
