I have the HDTV Wonder analog and under XP it worked great, under vista
ulti, I can't get any sound no matter what I tried.

I have installed/un-installed drivers for the last five days and I am about
to give up.

Does this card work under Vista?

Is it worthwhile to buy a newer model?

Which one?

Thanks

According to the Mac commercial Vista owners are upgrading to XP :)

I don't have Vista. No plans to go there. These may be helpful or not.
Good Luck.

Good point.

Every time when it came to run atiCDwiz it ask for a disk. I never could get
it to recognize any of the disk I feed into it, so I always bypassed that
section. I went through my ATI disk collection again and I found the HDTV
disk, tried that and that did the trick for my sound problem, but now I had
no video since the whole setup gave me the digital tuner only.

So I went and un-installed everything to start again and now I can't get the
video card driver to take hold, I get a message during the installation that
it can't find the INI file.

Well, tomorrow is another day.

Only the HDTV Wonder disk will have the Cyberlink decoder you need for 5.1
or any sound it seems.

Don't know about Vista but in XP sometimes when the install is bad only a
thorough cleaning will fix it.

Haven't looked at ati.com/install for a while. Maybe it has or you can find
similar for Vista.
