Look like they've got the CPU utilisation figures correct.

Cool! Yes, my CPU Utilization is ~6% with the beta (vs. ~30% with 2.70).
Were you able to try it? I tried to upload my results (which are now
comparable with others with VIA onboard IDE !!), but got an error doing
that.

Jim, my reported utilisation went from ~22% to 2%.
I just uploaded a result, and it apparently went well. You did use the Long
Read option?

Derek,
Yes, I did. I posted on their forum, and they said they have an email
address to send the results, but it's still strange that I can't send the
results via HDTach.

Shailesh said:Yep, my CPU utilisation used to be 0%, now it is 10% +/- 2%.
Although my burst speed is a measly 124.8mbps, my sequential long read
speed is 90.3mbps, and random access 9.4ms. I'm happy to say that
this is faster than any of the benchmarks in the HD Tach Library.

You might post on their forum. They have a topic setup specifically for the
beta, and it looks like the guy that wrote the code is monitoring the topic.
I've run the beta a couple of times, and while I'm happy with the lower
utilization numbers, I just got a run with 0%, which has me wondering if the
utilization is now erring on the low-side.
