My PC is connected to an LCD TV (Dell 37") via DVI (for video) and PC
audio (for sound) (the Dell TV unusually has PC audio in).

The DVI connection on the TV is not well engineered and I cannot screw
the cable into the connection - but it connects sufficiently well to
work.

My question is: can I use a DVi/HDMI cable to connect the PC and the
TV? I appreciate that DVI only carries video so I would continue to
need to PC audio in but can I replace the DVI connection on the TV with
the HDMI input for video?

Cheers.
