How do I create a distribution list from an e-mail message I received? When
I copy the names and paste them into a new DL, only the names appear, not the
addresses?

Thanks

Version: Office XP Small Business
I don't know what you mean by the "format" of the addresses.

Answer would depend on your Outlook version and the format of these
addresses, neither of which you mentioned.

Never mind. I figured out how to do it!
Click Reply to All from the e-mail with the addresses you want.
Click on Address Book icon.
Highlight and copy names.
Close "Reply to All" e-mail.
Click on File, New, Distribution List (DL).
Fill in name of Group/DL.
Under "Add to DL," paste the names. It's pretty self-explanatory from there.

You are digging a deeper hole.
There is no Outlook XP. Office XP uses Outlook 2002.
Then you posted "2003."
It not nice to confuse us.
Just read the article I posted.

Brilliant. That's what the article I posted tells you to do.

You know, Russ ol' boy, you may be a brilliant tech geek, but you could use
some social skills training. If you can't be nice to people who ask for your
help, why do you volunteer to help? You remind me of Nick, Your Company's
Computer Guy on Saturday Night Live, only he was funny.

Not being a tech geek myself, I couldn't understand the article so I,
indeed, figured it out myself. And who gives a rat's patooty if I didn't
know which version of Outlook I have? Does that mean you need to make fun of
me?

Curious impression you have there.
The method for creating a DL from a list of email addresses varies with
Outlook version, so the version is important.
So is the format of these addresses.
That's why I asked for both of those pieces of information and received no
coherent answer.
Nowhere did you mention that you had read the article and that you didn't
understand it, nor did you post what was unclear to you.
You seem to expect us to be able to read minds. Please just post clearly and
provide the information we request. If there is something you don't
understand, just ask. Here are some guidelines for how to post:
