Hi,
Wondering if you can help?. A 120mb Hdd suddenly has disappeared from
windows explorer, it shows up in the device manager and the
properties/hardware tab of other drives.
Recently I had a crash and XP reinstall, it worked for 2 weeks then went
missing.
Can you help?.
thanks
steve

Wrong jumper setting?
Cable problem?
Loose connection?
BIOS IDE setting?

One thing to try is to right click on My Computer and choose Manage. When it
opens the new window choose Storage then Disk Management.

Once in there you can see if the HDD is visable to Windows, if it is there
then you might need to tell windows to use the disk by right clicking on the
disk and selecting Activate or something ( cant quite remember what the
option is ). But if Windows cant find the disk in the Disk Management, then
it sund very much like a loose cable or connection.

Hope this helps.

None of the above, I had this prob when I first bought the drive but it
corrected itself.( something about the drive being bigger than 100mb)
