hi,

I have a 120 gig storage drive (it is not my C: drive),
with a Dynamic Drive Overlay software from Seagate.
This drive worked fine under W2K.
Recently I changed the OS from W2K English to W2K in my
native language.
Now I can no longer access the HDD. Windows sees and
displays it in Explorer, but says it is inaccessible. A
smaller partition (4 Gig) on the same drive is accessible,
though.
I have reinstalled the DDO on the MBR of the C: drive.
It doesn't work.
The Seagate utility can still access the complete drive
(under DOS) and lists its partitions and their contents
correctly.

Anybody any help?

thanks

Hi,

sorry for bothering you all. I found the solution to the problem: the
disk was NTSC formatted. I had to do a Rightclick and adjust the
privileges / access rights to the new situation. Now it works fine.
