HDD speed monitor?

Does anybody know if there's a free program out there that monitors hard
disk read/write in real time? I found others that just benchmarks the
hdd, but are there any that monitor it in real time?

Since any test or speed monitoring puts a load on the drive, that sounds
nearly impossible.

xp with just a regular 80gig eide hd, ok nevermind. i guess theres
nothing out there
