HDD failure/ information recovery possible from drive?

Blaster kicked my butt! BAD!! Cpu and motherboard lost.
HDD is also a loss. can the info. on this drive be
recovered? and possable saved to new hard drive or placed
on cd? Important info was stored on drive.

depends on how bad the drive is hosed. If the drive is still functional,
you can plug it into another system that recognizes the file system and
retrieve the data. If the drive is damaged in any way ( platters are hosed,
or the heads are damaged etc ) then there are companies that you can send
your drive to retrieve the info ( this is generally an expensive process ).

Blaster shouldn't have hosed you CPU, Motherboard, and Hard drive. You may
be at a point where you may just need to reinstall an OS.
