My config -
Intel P4 3G (Prescott)
Mobo - Asus P4P800-SE (i865P/PE/G/i848p rev. A2)+ 8280EB (ICH5) rev. 02
Memory - Kingston PC3200 1.5G
Display - Radeon 9550 (AGP8X)

Problem in playing HD TV files. I use the Gomplayer to play the HD TV.
Although it can run the file, it freezes.

Any recommendations for my hardware to play the HDTV? Shall I change the
display card? Which model (AGP)?

Your processor is a bit lightweight for playing HD video. If it ran at all,
it would only play a few frames per second dropping the remainder (not all
codecs do this).
