What is the best way to set up my 2 hard drives. I hear
puting your OS on one and your personel files on another
then there is one way where you put your OS on one and
the applications and games on another with your personel
files on another (a patition on a different drive). Then
theres on with the one with your swap file on a different
one (phyisical HD). What I want to know is how should I
set my OS up the best way to access my files and load my
apps. I have XP and I used to install the OS on one
logical partition and my apps on the same hard drive
(phyical) with them on a different partition in the same
drive. With my personel file on a totaly different
physical hard drive. Could someone show me by typing it
or show me by sending me a link.

Thank is Adv...

XP with NTFS performs best on one partition. Some people believe that
putting data on a different drive is safer. In fact, your second drive is
just as likely to fail as your first, and is just as susceptible to power
spikes and viruses as well as corruption.

There is no 'right' answer here, as some might say have two hard drives
actually doubles your chances of experiencing a hard drive failure because
now instead of having one drive that COULD fail, you have two.

Pick which way you prefer. If you aren't certain, pick a way and try it. You
can always change it later.
