I want to change from one HD to two HD's. If I make an image of each of the
4 partitions on my one HD (C,D,E,F) and then place C on one HD and D,E&F on
the other HD will the computer read everything in the right order and work
ok?

It will depend on what you have on each of the partitions now.
If your complete OS is on C: and you have all your own data on the
other partitions, you shouldn`t have any problems.
You would just move D,E and F to the new drive.

My OS is on C and I have both data and programs on C, D, E, & F. Everything
that was there will still be there except the 3 partitions will no longer be
on the old HD, they will be on the new 2nd HD. I just wonder if everything
will find what it needs ok.

Sadly if you have `Installed` any programs on the D,E,F partitions, they
will
have written something to the registry.
If that`s the case, they might not work, and you`d have to re install them.
But all your pics, music, data should be OK.

You might want to take a look at the Change Your Address program from
PC Mag.

I haven't used it myself, but I recall reading about it used in that
context.
