HD crash

Hello,

my HD is crashed. I think, but not sure, the interface is dead!
How to be sure the interface is the probleme, or the motor...?
If I buy the same HD and replace interface, that's OK to recorver my
datas?

The only real way to be sure is to swap the logic card, what
you are calling the interface, and see if it returns from the dead.

With some drives, yes. With others, no.

You need a logic card from as identical a drive as
you can find to maximise your chances of success.

Thanks for reply, I buy a new DD and go to change logic card and pray...
