Tim Hatch
OS: Windows XP Pro
HD0: 40GB RAID (NTFS)
HD1: 120GB RAID (NTFS)
Motherboard: Soyo P4S DRAGON Ultra
Ok, I was having problems with my computer. During idle
the HD would be constantly active, slowing the system down
to a crawl. After fighting with it for a week or so I
decided to reload XP. Reloaded and everything worked fine.
Then I loaded in "a lot" of hot fixes and the problem
returned. My computer is now barley usable (1.7GHx P4).
The hard disk is constantly active and the system freezes
for several minutes at the time.
Also, my father (who has a computer with the same
motherboard) is having the exact same problem!
