having trouble viewing jpeg files

Not sure of anyone on here can help me, but I am at a
Starbucks using T-Mobile hotspot and my IE 6 will not view
JPEG files. Any page that has pictures fails to bring up
the photos but the text is all there. This is high-speed,
so I doubt that it has anything to do with the connection.
