Having trouble enabling hyperlinks from I-Explorer in e-mails

For some reason, when I right-click on a web address in
the web address bar of Windows Explorer and then try to
create a hyperlink in an Outlook e-mail, it doesn't work.
Only the text appears, not a hyperlink.

BUT, if I manually type an e-mail address, for example, in
the body of the e-mail and then hit Return, a nice
hyperlink is immediately created.

I went to the AutoCorrect tab in Outlook and
the "automatically create hyperlink" box is, in fact,
checked.

Anybody got any idea of why I'm having this problem and
what I can do to correct it? Thanks.

After you copy the link into the message try entering a
return character immediatly after it by pressing the
<enter> key.
