Having problems with Internet Explorer

OK, this is the first time it happened. First time it happened was at most 4-6 weeks ago. I can't access history and you know how the highlighted text changes colors once you've viewed that page, it's not doing that either. The first time it happened someone on a forum that I frequent told me that something is corrupt on my computer and a month later it's doing it again. I'm at my wit's end. I've tried deleting cookies, temporary internet files, and history. Still it's not opening the history and the hyperlink text doesn't change color.

Hi Christopher,

You can try reinstalling IE, first making hidden and system files
visible in folder options and going to C:\Windows\inf\ right cliking
on ie.inf and choosing install; it will ask you for your Win XP CD,
though
