Frontpage 2000

I'm trying to create a form for registration online. I have everything
filled out as I think it should be - yet on the website when the submit
button is hit I get an IE "page cannot be found" error and the website
address changes to "http://www.riverviewbaseball.com/--WEBBOT-SELF--". And
the results do not email themselves to my address.

My website form can be found at www.riverviewbaseball/registration.html

Right click on submit - to form properties and 'options'. My first tab is
File Results, in which I do not have anything in the file name box. Next tab
is email results and I have my email address filled in and format to HTML. On
the confirmation results page I have the URL filled in to be
"www.riverviewbaseball.com/confirmation.html" which is a page I made with a
thank you for submitting. The 'browse' button stays grayed out no matter what
I do as does the 'url failure validation' section.

I've played and played with it, tried the Frontpage help and am starting to
get very frustrated with it. If someone could please help me out. Thanks. :)

FP forms requires that you have FP extensions installed on your web server.

You did http publish it (not ftp) to a host server with the frontpage server
extensions installed for your account, correct?

You did ask your host to configure the forms to email transport, correct?

I use Geocities Pro from Yahoo. I set up an Author account with them within
the FrontPage section.

I did not use an FTP to upload any of my files. I used the geocities upload
page.

How do I install FP server extenstions? And to configure the forms to email
transport?

I'm using Geocities Pro, I have created an author on the frontpage section.
How do install FP extensions?

Also, after reading through the FP Help section of Geocities - it says to go
File - Publish Web in my FP - when I do that that selection is grayed out.

You'll need to contact your Host for information.

Publish is grayed out because your site doesn't have FP extensions installed, contact your host, once they are installed do not use third party FTP or Geocities thing...use Publish | Web/site then http://www.youweb.com method.

Also, after reading through the FP Help section of Geocities - it says to go
File - Publish Web in my FP - when I do that that selection is grayed out.

Do you actually have a web created and opened, or just a page on your local
computer.

Which GeoCities package offers FrontPage support?
Yahoo! has upgraded to FrontPage 2002 in order to increase convenience,
speed, and security for web site creation and maintenance.
Because FrontPage 2002 server extensions work only with domain-based web
sites, FrontPage publishing via HTTP is no longer supported for GeoCities
Plus and GeoCities free services. Only Yahoo! GeoCities Pro currently
supports FrontPage 2002.

You can still publish pages generated by FrontPage 2002 to your web site by
using FTP or Easy Upload, or you can upgrade to a domain-based service to
enjoy all of FrontPage 2002's great features. GeoCities Pro and all three Web
Hosting packages -- Business Starter, Business Starter, and Business
Professional -- include FrontPage 2002 support for collaborative web site
authoring and other web publishing features.

Without FPSE your form won't work.
