Having problems importing word documents with headers and footers

I am having problems bringing in documents to Frontpage that have headers and
footers. I can import the word document perfectly but the header and footers
do not come with the text. I am at my wits end trying to figure out how to
import the entire word document, including the header and footer.

Save the document from Word as HTML, etc., then import the files that are created.

Right, I tried that and it still isn't working. For some reason the header
and footers will not import with the document.

Then that is Word issue, not an FP issue.

If you check the Word help files, they will tell you that headers and
footers will not be imported into web pages. They suggest using header and
footer frames for web pages. I have no experiencre with this, so I cannot
be of much help here, but you might look into it.
