Having problem

hello,
i am having problem with the history page of the
IE6 on win XP pro.It doesn't work at all. When i open the
History page,it have the column but nothing in it.Why is
it so?
And when i go to Windows Update, after i close the
windows update window,a pop up will appear and says that
the IE got an error and need to shut down, And so it also
close all my other IE. What must i do??
Can i reinstall the IE6?? Or does it hav any update
to repair it??Pls help me...

If you are using McAfee anti-virus turn off the ActiveX part of Internet
Filter.
