I'm having a hard time burning CD's each time i burn music cd,
picture,etc... it would always quit. So i was looking around my computer and
here's what i found:

I check Computer Management, storage, Removal storage. after selecting
Removable Storage i get this pop alert saying The service cannot be started,
either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated
with it.
This snapin's display may be inconsistent with the Removal Storage Service.
If the problem persite please restart the snapin.

after seing that message i went to Administrator tools, Services and notice
that Removal Storage is disabled.is this the problem?should it be manual or
enabled?anyone know what's the default setting for the removal storage?

is this the reason why i can't burn large files, documents, pictures? Anyone
know the right setting for Removal Storage?

T1J,
By default this is manual and it may be the cause of the problem. Also try
right clicking on the cd/dvd drive icon click on properties. Do you have a
recording tab?? If you do click on that and check if enable cd burning is
checked or not.

The Removable Storage service should not be needed for CD/DVD. It's for
things like Zip drives, tape drives, graphics pens, etc. The default is
manual. I have it disabled and can still burn CDs no problem.
