Having only one name at the contacts field

Hi,

I've designed a custom form having contacts field and i have changed this
field as readonly.So when i add a second name i can't delete the first one.

Is there any restriction as having only one name at this field.When i want
to change the contact name it must delete the first one

No such restriction is built into Outlook, since the Contacts field actually
exposes the Links collection, which can have zero, 1 or many members.
