Can anyone help please. Got a new monitor, for my graphics applications i
need 1024*768 and my father needs 800*600 . have tried setting his own
account and changing his resolution but when i come to log back on it has
changed mine to the same. Is there any way to get round this, have xp

Help appreciated. If this is in the wrong category I do apologise.

Gp to http://www.dougknox.com/

Click Win XP Utilities, then "Keep User Display Settings."

By the way, why does your father need 800x600?

can this still be achieved without downloading the program off your site?
Have saved to favourites so will download when needed. my father needs it for
his eye sight and will not use magnifier.

Having different resolutions for each user cannot be done natively in
XP. MVP Doug Knox's program is safe.

It's not my site. It's Doug Knox's. No, there's no way to do this
natively within Windows. You need a third-party solution like Doug's.

OK, understood.
