Forecast was that we had a 40% chance of it here in Somerset.
As yet none has fallen, but it is very cold outside.

Milder weather coming in over the next few days though.
A friend said up North near Newcastle they had some snow.

Any snow where you live?

I left Newcastle yesterday so I've just missed it  It is about 1C here at the moment though, so it's almost cold enough for it :)

Thats last years weather Mucks :)

Yup ! Here in N.Yorks we've had about 2-2.5 cm. Much worse in nearby areas - I think the snow has been very patchy. I think it will be gone by tomorrow. :)

What year is it now then ??? err, 'ang on, never mind, it ain't Thursday yet is it ?

A brief flurry early December - didn't settle - it is really quite cold atm but no snow.

Which is good - I not fond of snow.

Snow only good for ski-ing and tobogganing (is that a word? :D ) and that's about it.

London rarely gets snow, too much heat from all us people.

Snows good for chilling champgne or beer aswell flops . No snow here so I'm a bitt miffed as I wanted to take some photos .

:D

No snow here in Josselin - France - was told - it was laying in Hull, Yorkshire, Last Night ...............

Nope........ but it is bloody freezing with a lazy wind it goes through you not around you:D

Hurray the snow arrived as I was asleep and now all the hills are white . Luverly .

:D

Had to drive deep ito the hills this morning so it was quite good fun .

:D

Oh nice pics Abarbarian, always looks so pretty when there has just been a sprinkling as opposed to a dirty great blizzard :D

We've not had any yet, just rain, but it is bitterly cold, so wouldn't be surprised if it turns into the white stuff ;)

Thanks Taffycat . Pics were quick snaps , first two are home and "the hill" at the end of the farm track . Last two are near Hawkshead , turning of the "c" road down a small hill on to the local road and the turning of the road onto the track leading to me pick-ups house . Back of the beyond does not describe it adequately .
All gone now which is a real shame . I saw on the tv that we had avalanche warnings for the mountains here in the lakes due to ice build up and heavy driffting snow .

:D

I think there is a lot to be said in favour of "back of beyond" what a great place to live :D

Yup its nice out here apart from the slow broadband , oh and the darn deer eating me roses , oh and the blasted moles living in me flower bed , an the noisy blooming owls at night .

Nice pictures.:thumb:
Weather now a mix of rain & sun.
The local stream was running high yesterday, all the rain coming from the hill's of Exmoor and running in to the river at the bottom of the lane, but no sand bags needed this time!
All ready for the blistering summer they will probably be forecasting shortly.
