Have any owner of a CD printer like epson R300 or Canon i865 ever tried to
print on a non-printable disc like this one?

like waterdrops on a goose? Or wil it just smear way too much to be usefull?

Erik, you're right about waterdrops on a goose. If you plan to use an
inkjet printer on CD/DVDs you must specify media that has an "inkjet
compatible surface." These are available in both silver and matte
white tops, with a surface layer that has sufficient absorbancy to
allow printing. There are other media types intended for thermal
printers, but don't use those.

Maybe in time someone will come up with a gloss printable media
surface, but I know of none at present.
