I'm thinking of getting this card. But the box says WinXP. Any idea if
Win2000 is supported as well ?

Yes. I read that already. But I'm just hoping. I have a Logitech
keyboard/mouse that comes with XP/Vista drivers and it is stated
(though not clearly enough... that's why I bought it, didn't know that
keyboard/mouse has a OS dependency at that time) But I was very
fortunate to find a win2000 driver for it.

So I'm hoping that that there are software for this card to run on
Win2000.

I already looked on Hauppage's site. I did not find any downloads at
all for that model. Driverguide MIGHT turn up a hacked up driver that
works, but i wouldn't guarentee that.

If you HAVE to have that card, you might try an upgrade to XP. This
usually works fine, but there's some prep work to do first. Such as
disable or remove the antivirus, and making sure you have a backup.
And making sure your computer is free of viruses and malware, and
making sure you don't have any flaky hardware. And making sure all
your hardware has XP drivers available.

The alternate theory is go shopping for a card that actually supports
win2k.

Yes. I'm thinking of getting the PVR 150. But I just want to make
sure that I really cannot use this HVR card first. The price is about
the same here.

OK. I just wait for 1 week if there are some good news here.

If they supported Win2K, you can be sure they would say so. Therefore
it's safe to assume that no Win2K support is available.
