Hauppauge Tuner not detected

My PVR 150 MCE has stopped being detected by Vista Ultimate Media Center. It
used to function until I installed the latest update for it from Windows
Update. I have tried a system restore, checked the compatibility of my
decoders and confirmed the card in Device Manager. When attempting Live TV, I
receive the message"No Tuner Installed" yet it is in Device Manager working
normally.
 
A further note, I read a post that says RC1 disables tuner after 12/31/06. If
this is true it could be my problem
 
Change the date on your computer to before 12/31/06 and see if it works.
I have RC2 version of Vista and the decoders expired this month on the 4th
(or 5th). I temporarily changed the date to the 3rd of Jan and my MCE stuff
worked again.

On a side note, I can still continue to use the guide and record shows, but
I can't watch them (unless I change the date to before the 4th of Jan).
 
Do you mean the date/time settings from your desktop or the clock in the
bios. I tried the first one and it didn't work (unless I need a restart?)
