Has much changed since Visual C# ?

I'm reading a book from the library that's written for Microsoft Visual C#
2005 express edition and was wondering if much has changed now there's a
2010 version of this programming system?

It will not be a waste of your time to read that book.

But both C# and the .NET framework has evolved a lot since then.
