Has anyone went from an X800XT AGP to the 7800 GS?

I would be interested in hearing some personal experience on it, is it worth
it or do they remain pretty much equals? I know the 7800 GS has SM3 support,
but how does that translate into real observed benefits for playing Call of
Duty 2 or DDO?

i would never do that they are close competitor oin term of fps

That's what I thought. Thanks. Perhaps the only reason to go to the 7800 GS
would be for 3D support as Nvidia has built in 3D into their drivers for
HMD's. But I can always save the Nvidia card for my new computer towards the
end of the year with Conroe.
 
connect a dvi cable between the 7800 boards and wear them as ear muffs.
carefull they might crash on you and send you reeling.
