Has anyone used PowerPoint to set up Due Diligence reporting?

I wouldn't choose PowerPoint for this unless it was to give a broad over
view of the data. DDR usually requires a good deal of data to be presented,
often in very fine detail. Trying to do that will create a very large
presentation that would be laborious to both give and to sit through.

Again, if you want to give large brush stokes to show conclusions, perhaps a
limited number of charts, etc. PowerPoint will do very nicely.
 
Thanks for your response. This is a concern we had as well. We were told to
use Frontpage or Sharepoint, but since Frontpage is being discontinued and
Sharepoint won't be released for a few months this won't work for us. Also,
we were concerned about the same thing that you just stated. Too much info
to access. Do you have any suggestions on how to accomplish this?

I have used PPT and Word to programmatically create very complex
reports from databases. The key decision between me choosing PPT or
Word is primarily whether there is a need for "page flow continuity"
because you might have more data that will fit on a page, then I use
Word. If page flow can be confined to a single page, then PPT is
clearly an option.
