Has anyone tried MultiView?

I have a AIW 9000 Pro and am considering getting a TV Wonder Pro to
accomodate MultiView (ie; recording one show while watching another or
recording two shows at the same time). Has anyone successfully made this
work? Any conflicts or other issues? Is it worth doing?

Thanks,

My inclination is to say I think you'ld stand a better chance of having two
video-in's working at the same time by using completely different products
from separate manufacturerss.

I base this on the fact that my Xpert98's install routine isn't even "smart
enough" to recognize my 64 DDR VIVO card is primary (dual displays using two
video cards) and has video-in and it only "looks at" the Xpert98 (which
doesn't have video-in) so wants to "kill" all vivo stuff. One of the biggest
obstacles in updating drivers for either card (thankfully everything works
so no need).

Thanks for responding, pip. Actually, I have a Hauppauge WinTV DBX card in
the machine already. The ATI software says it's unsupported. Both programs
will run, but the overlay won't work on one while the other ios running (no
big deal, I guess). The only other obstacle I can think of is figuring out
how to route the audio of the Haupppauge so as not to conflict with the ATI
whilst recording (I guess that's no big deal either).

I have to agree with you there...ATI's install program is one of the
sloppiest I've seen.
