Just curious if anyone else has been to this event in the past. Am
booked to go and looking forward to it. Would love to hear anyone's
opinion on past events.

Thanks,

Ted

Some of the regulars here have been at each PPTLive since it started five years
or so ago and will be there this year as speakers or in the Help Center: Glen
'n Glenna (no relation, except they both think the other has a cute accent),
Echo, Geetesh, Bill Dilworth, Julie and probably a few more I've forgotten.
Oh. Right. Me too.

The event draws a lot of really nice folks of different backgrounds and skill
levels; enough to make it interesting, not so big as to leave you feeling lost.
It's very friendly and casual. The number of repeat attendees is quite
amazing, which says a lot about how useful and enjoyable the event is.

And then there's New Orleans. At Halloween.

How can it miss? ;-)

Stop in the Help Center and say Hi.

I've attended all but one LIVE. Each year, I learned enough in the first 10
minutes to justify the entire trip.

Over the years, I learned so much, that this year I'm a presenter.

See you there.

See, I *knew* I'd forget someone. You get one free shot at me this week.

Make mine single-malt. <g>

Thanks everyone. I'm looking forward to the event. Unfortunately, I
have a 6:30pm flight on Wednesday, sure wish I could hang around
overnight!

Looking forward to meeting you, Sandy.
I just read this about your Living with Bullets session: "This session is
for those who do not consider themselves graphically adept or anyone who
creates presentations for others and doesn’t have a choice regarding content
treatment."

LOL: Sounds like the story of my life. :-)

lol - also the story of my life! I can talk most clients out of it
eventually, but some of them just insist their industry is 'special' and
no-one would take them seriously if they didn't use bullet points (give me
strength). I'm just hoping Glen's session gets a re-run as I would love to
attend that too (and support my fellow aussie of course)...

Looking forward to meeting *everyone* :-)

I can't believe I'm opposite Glen in the same time slot. His sessions are
always so entertaining and enlightning. Geez, where would I rather go...

Hi,

Well, I've finally met Lucy and she is as quiet as I am. Now, there's a

Oh and for those who doubted my knowledge of useless trivia, the Dutch *are*

eyedunno ... A Carrot Museum? Seems like the person that'd move you to find a
seat at the other end of the bus, no?

And what's this "We eat over 10 pounds per person in the US" from a site in the
UK?
