I recently purchased an E-Machine with windows XP. I
created two user accounts as the machine is being shared
with my wife. When I open my account, the keyboard is
disabled, however it works fine on the other account! The
device manager indicates that there is no problem with the
device!

Another sap suckered by eMachines aggressive marketing and advertising
strategy. I'll give that system four months tops - the power supply will
fail first - or the hard drive. Those systems are built using completely
proprietary junk - and eMachines won't even honour the warranty!
