Is there any way to stop manually the hardware wizard from installing a device driver (mainly ATI DRIVER). Damn thing install a driver for my video card before i can install the one that i want. Hel
With the ATI drivers came an uninstall utility.This cleans out all Ati
drivers.
OR uninstall from within Control Panel/Add&remove.
Now Reboot and XP will look for and load Generic ATI drivers that came with
XP.
If you are connected to the net the Hardware Wizard will search XP website
for updated drivers....disconnect
Run your ATI driver set up and continue
