Hardware upgrade with bin file

I have a CDRW that bios sees but Windows doesn't. It used to be seen by
windows but isn't any more. I tried to download drivers for it and just got
a bin file. I have disconnected it from the machine, restarted the machine,
shut the machine down, REconnected it to the machine and it still doesn't see
it even though bios does and used huge run-on sentences on it.

How do you install a new device using a bin file?

(P.S. I'm using a Artec WRA-WA48 and can only find 3rd party drivers. No
explaination on how to use it.)

I have a slave CD on the same IDE slot (IDE2) as the CDRW. It recognized the
CD but not the CDRW. When I removed the CD it recognized the CDRW. Could it
be a FindFast problem?

What makes you think that FindFast could be responsible for your
problem? Seems to be a rather long shot . . .

Check the master/slave jumpers on your CD drives. You
should also try to connect one of your CD drives to the
primary rather than the secondary controller.

The problem seemed to be exacerbated when I disconnected a USB storage
device. A "Findfast" error popped up, and I couldn't find that CDRW any more.
