I have a Windows 2000 machine with a SCSI scanner that
Windows won't see to recognize. The computer says that
the hardware (scsi card and Canon scanner) are working
properly, but if you try to scan a document, then it
doesn't work. Also, the scanner is not recognized under
control panel in the scanner section, but when you boot
the computer, it says that it found the scanner as new
hardware and installs it. How can i get this working?
The scanner is set for id 0 (it's the only device in the
chain), and there is a built in terminator which is set by
a dip switch, that is in the on position. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

How old is the scanner? Did it ever work with your system? Do you have the
latest driver?

The scanner is fairly new. It used to work with this
computer, and has the latest drivers.

Thanks
