Hiya and thanks in advance.

Need some assitance if possible in troubleshooting this problem I have.

Had too many things on the same outlet one night and tripped a breaker,
shutting everything down. Upon booting one of my boxes up, the monitor
didn't come on at all (stayed in sleep mode) and the computer turned on, but
it doesn't do anything else (no beeps, isn't reading the harddrive at all,
etc).

So I hooked the monitor up to my other box and it's functioning just fine.
Removed all my cards and put them back in firmly, so I know that isn't an
issue. Unfortunately it doesn't have onboard video, so I cannot test the
theory that it's my gfx card (wouldn't that cause some sort of warning error
or beep though? this motherboard has voice capability and still nothing is
'said')

Any ideas?

AMD Athlon 1.0Ghz
512MB PC133 Ram
GeForce MX 440 SE gfx card
Soyo K7V85 (something like that... VIA chipset-based)

Nevermind, fixed it.

Don't really know what was wrong, just pushed it on everything one more time
in desperation. Nothing seemed to shift, but it powered on and seems to be
functioning just fine (short of X not finding a usuable screen config... but
one thing at a time hehe)

Anyhow, sorry to waste your time and making you read all this.
