hardware installation issue...

A domain user is haveing trouble accessing his memory
stick. He is a domain USER and is useing a Windows XP
machine. When he plugs in the stick he gets an icon in
the taskbar indicating that he plugged in a USB device
but the device does not apper in MY COMPUTER. If I log on
as LOCAL ADMINISTRATOR the device installs fine. I also
put his domain account name in the LOCAL ADMINISTRATORS
group of the local PC but he still cannot access the
device with his user profile.
How do I fix this?

Make him a member of teh local admins for that computer via the domain
controller
