Hardware failure? Not sure. I boot up CPU after shutting
down last night, and it comes to a shut down screen
incorrect, alright. So I continue: Win XP Loading
screen. WHAM, Blue screen with some words 2 secs (no time
to read) and then I'm rebooted again. Any suggestions to
fixing w/o reformat? CD rom isnt reading CD either.

Have you tried booting with the XP CD and doing a repair
install?

Have you tried to use complete sentences?

People that talk like that anonymously are usually the
wimpiest, weakest, and least self-assured people there
are. I know you feel strong behind your veil of
anonymity, so good for you. It's 99.9% likely that if you
met the person you are spewing that language on he/she'd
pound you into the ground.

So he/she made a little mistake, so what? He could set
his bios to boot from the cdrom and try that (it was never
mentioned he did that, btw).

An update: Tried all those F8 options, gets to WIN XP
loading then Reboots. Tried to use CD ROM & it worked
now, so I tried recovery & nada. Tried to set up WIN XP
and requires a format, which I do not want to do.

Greetings --

Have you tried to reboot into Safe Mode?

To get started troubleshooting the cause of your problems, we'll
need to learn what specific errors are occurring and being recorded.

To get the error message from the blue screen (a.k.a. the BSOD --
Blue Screen of Death), you'll need to turn off WinXP's automatic
reboot "feature:" Right-click My Computer > Properties > Advanced >
Startup and Recovery > Uncheck "Automatically restart." The next time
your PC crashes, you'll be left with a blue screen full of memory
addresses and other seeming gibberish. The top 2 or 3 lines of this
screen will contain information that can help solve your problem.
Carefully write down these lines and post the exact text back here.
Hopefully, one of us will be able to provide some insight.

Additionally, you should check your Event Logs to see if they can
shed any light on the matter, To do so, Right-click My Computer >
Manage > Event Viewer > System and Application. Record the specifics
of any red-flagged error messages and post the exact text back here.
Again, hopefully, one of us will be able to provide some insight.

If an really individual wants help from the respondents, it
behooves him/her to make his post as informative and as understandable
as possible. This generally includes using standard grade-school
level English, for this and other English language groups.
