i need help installing a piece of hardware to my pc. vista had trouble
finding the drivers for it. at the initial start of vista many drivers were
missing. i found many of the drivers installed i was able to take many of
the drivers from the xp partition without error. however i keep getting an
issue when trying to get the drivers for my pci modem. it finds the drivers
from the xp partition but then an error accurs and it can't install them. i
wanna finish installing all the hardware for my pc. i have pc cards that i
wanna get installed as well that are having the same installation issues
with the drivers but i wanna take care of the pci modem first because it is
integrated hardware. please help.

The driver error is probably because they are XP drivers and not Vista
ones...i have some that work, and some that dont...

yea your right but i got a drive from 95 to work, y can't i get a modern day
one to work?

well i finally got the driver for the hardware installed. i used the driver
CD that came with my pc for when i got it. it installed the modem and a few
other hardware devices that vista missed.now to work on the gprs modem i
have and the WL110 wireless lan card. i got my usb multibay fdc drives
installed. the ls-120 installed durring the vista install i think. can
someone give me the link to the drivers for the compaq WL110 wireless lan
card or just the link to the drivers. maybe u can get me a better match for
the drivers. i have the driver CD for it but its from 1995....
