does anyone know if the Diamond Viper II Z200 video card
is supported by winXP?

Windows XP will probably support it, at least in a basic
way. Of course, if it's not on the HCL there are no
guarantees, but if it's the video card you already have, it's
worth a try before you go out and buy a new one.
