thanks for the info...guess what we are currently using in our field tests?
good ol' panasonic toughbook.
we've got it mounted like a police cruiser computer. the end-user's are
train car repairmen and complain that it is too cumbersome to carry and a
pain to have to hop in and out of the truck to enter repair details. another
reason we are investigating this is that the car inspectors lack a truck and
are worried they'd set it down on a car during inspection only to forget to
get it...and, watch as $4500 of equipment "eased on down the road."
thanks for the info...it is greatly appreciated. at least by comparison of
experience, it seems were on the right track (pun intended ;^)

| Screen is 8.4" 800x600 resolution. Even the ruggedized Tablet PCs have
