Hardware acceleration

Let me start by saying, "I don't know", but ... It'd be a Windows function
(like an API) not an Office one.

This may not be the best of ideas, since hardware acceleration needs and
resulting settings will change from system to system. I know I would be
rather ticked off if every time I ran your code/macro, my PowerPoint stopped
working right.

If you are just going to use the code for your own system, then why does the
need change?

Just curious

In Slide Show -> Setup Show you can set "use graphics
hardware acceleration". If you run a slide show from VB
using the Ppt object everything works fine except that I
cannot see a way of duplicating the acceleration option
in VB code. This matters because, although you can set it
outside of vb (i.e. in Powerpoint itself), if anything
goes wrong (like you escape the show), Powerpoint
automatically unsets the graphics acceleration. Therefore
you need to make sure it is set before running the show
from VB.
