Hi,

I just bought a Western Digital harddisk (WD800JB) and i can't get the
DMA 4 at least that is the maximum that my motherboard can support even
if my HD can do UDMA 5. I would like to know if it is possible to get
driver for HD because i went to the WD website and there's no driver
for HD. When i use Everest it say that the driver is drive.inf and is
dated from 2001-07-01 and published by Microsoft. Is the only thing i
can update the IDE controller or is there other thing i can do?

Thanks!

Esteban

You probably have to install the CD that came with your
motherboard to enable the full features of your IDE interface
(most likely integrated on your motherboard).
