Hardlock Driver Error

Hello,

My windows2000 freezes at startup, during Windows Splash
screen (the one with the moving bar at the bottom), if I
boot into Safe Mode, I get an error box that says:

HLVDD-Hardlock Virtual Device
Cannot Find ///FAST Hardlock Driver!

Does anyone know what this is? or how to fix it? I have
searched the knowledge base and cannot locate any
reference to it.
