I am aware about the 136 GB or (around there) size
limitation for windows 2000 and windows xp. I do have a
250 GB Harddrive, and i have created 3 partitions
(30,100,120)GB. I have the main system files on the 30
partition, while the other 2 are for files. However, when
i want to reformat the 30GB drive (delete, reinstall) with
a new copy of windows 2000, the setup automatically
detects the 3rd partition. HOWEVER, it does not detect
the 3rd partition. It claims that it is empty, even
though there are still physical files on it. When i am
done reformatting and reinstalling windows 2000, all my
files are erased on the third partition. How can i make
it so that windows 2000 automatically detects the third
partition during reformatting so that my files do not get
erased?
