How do i get c and e drive together, sys is on e drive and is a fat32, why is
this life this ??? nothing is on c drive. Thanks for your Help.

This is the way I got this computer, I have the xp pro cd , I see that it use
to have 2000 on it ,as when you start it asks what do you to load or somthing
like that, if i click on 2000 nothing is there. So I need to get norton to
fix this, Thanks !!!!

Even if you combine the partitions into one C:, it is will not fix the
thousands of registry entries that point to E:, which won't exist any more.
Your best bet is either a) leave it alone or b) backup important data to
removeable media, CD, diskette, tape, external hard drive, boot to the XP
CD, delete both partitions, create one large partition, format, reinstall
XP, reinstall apps and recover personal data from where ever you backed it
up to.

WARNING

Make sure to use only V8.01 otherwise your drive will be unusable and you
will have to use a low level tool from drive manufacturer to delete the
faulty boot record and reinstall everything including your OS from Scratch!

With version 8.0 after repartitioning you get partition magic Error #1516

It happened to me last week and got page_fault in non-paged_area ntfs.sys
Stop 0x00000050 running any processes such as Safe mode (including command
line mode) Last good...,Recovery console, Clean install using XP CD start
correctly but when ready to setup does not find any drive available,
recovery (From hidden partition) load (splash screen) and BSOD!
More detail on my case open 3/18/2008 2:26 PM PST
Better be proactive!
