I have a server that has 2 physical hard drives. Disk 0 is divided into 1
primary and 3 logical drives. The second drive is partitioned into 2 drives.
In my event log I get an error msg that The device, \Device\Harddisk0\DR0,
has a bad block.

ok question I assume that the harddisk 0 is the master drive, but which of
the partitions is the dr0 refering to??? Partitions on harddisk 0 are
C,E,F,and G in that order.
next subquestion is what to do about fixing this error.

Thanks a lot in advance...

It could be any of these partitions. Running a good HD diagnostic will
tell you if the drive is failing.

First run CHKDSK /r on C/E/F/G and see if all drives come up
free of errors. More than likely the drive is going bad and needs
to be replaced, so it really doesn't matter which volume on it is
having the problem.

This article may help.
