I had to do a hard restore back to factory settings on a computer of ours. I
have to download all the updates (yeah, 2 years' worth), but I can't connect
to the internet using the wireless network adaptor. It won't load correctly.
I believe that I might be missing some much needed files in order to
actually install the software and connect. But, I don't know which ones.

I can download them onto a zip drive and install them on the actual computer
that needs them, but I don't know which updates to install.

Does anyone have any suggestions????

Thanks in advance!
Michelle

Without any useful info such as the make/model of the PC, make/model of the
wireless card, all I can suggest is visit the mfg's website to obtain the
needed drivers for your device.

David,
Sorry, yes, I'm sure that would be helpful. It's an E-Machines running
Windows XP. I thought that I might need some Windows files to connect back
up to the Internet? When I try to install the Linksys Network Adaptor, it
doesn't load up all the way. (Tried 2 different Adaptors).

I also saw an error message for the Graphic Card that said that it needed
".Net Framework 2.0" to work correctly. Do I have to upload 1.0 before 2.0?

For .net, no, 1 and 2 are different applications, you can install 2 only if
you want. Did you download the specific drivers for your wireless card model
from the Linksys website? They also have specific versions of their cards so
you need the driver that was designed for the card you have, do you not have
the installation disk the card came with?
