Hard Drives

I am running win2000 on a 10 gb primary master, and winxp on a 60gb primary
slave (dual boot system). I would like to reformat the 10 gb drive and use
it for backup and storage, without an operating system. Will winxp still
boot after I do this? Do I have to make changes in boot.ini?

Make sure the secondary drive has the boot files (boot.ini, ntldr and
ntdetect.com) installed and that the MBR (Master Boot Record) is fixed
using fixmbr
